Alexandre "Alex" Oukidja (born July 19, 1988 in Nevers ) is a French football goalkeeper . Since 2006 he is active in the B-team of OSC Lille ; Since 2007 he has also been on the squad of the professional team that plays in Ligue 1 , the top division in French football , but has not yet played in a professional game (as of April 23, 2011).

Career

Career start in Nevers

Born in the summer of 1988 in Nevers in central France, Oukidja began his active career as a football goalkeeper in 1995 in the junior division of his home club, the Racing Club Nevers Challuy Sermoise . There he was exclusively active in the youth department until 1997 and finally made the jump to ASA Vauzelles in 1998 . After about three years, his time there was over and Oukidja left the club in 2000. Immediately afterwards he was accepted by the Institut du Football Régional (IFR) de Châteauroux in 2001 and was employed in this elite training facility up to and including 2003. During this time he was trained even more intensively in his goalkeeping position, in order to join his first professional club soon afterwards. So it happened that after a few years at the IFR, the young goalkeeper joined the offspring of FC Gueugnon , who at that time was still represented in the French second division , in 2003 . At the Burgundian club, the still very young Oukidja was used almost exclusively in the offspring, but surprisingly made the leap into the professional squad of the club in the 2005/06 season . He was used in the 18th round of the current season, on December 2, 2005, in the 1: 3 away defeat against HSC Montpellier . After being substituted on at the beginning of the second half, he had to compensate for Pierre Bouysse's injury-related loss . After being substituted on, he was hit by Stéphane Darbion in the 61st minute and Jérôme Lafourcade in the 89th minute . At the end of the season he left the club for Lille .

Change to Lille

After his move to OSC Lille , which was already represented in Ligue 1 at that time , Oukidja was only intended for the B team with play in the fourth-class Championnat de France Amateurs (CFA) from the start. In his first season at the new club, he was used in a total of 13 league games of the B-team and reached third place with the team in the sometimes closely staggered final table. It was not until the 2007/08 season that he made the leap into the top team of the first division as the third goalkeeper behind the regular Tony Sylva and Grégory Malicki, who was also quite experienced but hardly used at Lille . There he could not prevail afterwards, however, and spent most of the time in the CFA team, where he had 14 appearances in the championship by the end of the season. This season it was enough for Oukidja and the team for fifth place in the final ranking. Oukidja was also brought into the professional squad for the 2008/09 season , but was repeatedly unable to prevail and was behind Grégory Malicki, who became the undisputed number 1 in goal at Lille after Sylva's departure, and behind the then loan acquisition Ludovic Butelle , who also came to his appearances for the professionals, again as the third goalkeeper in the squad. He made 15 appearances this season for the team in the CFA, where he made it to eleventh place with the team.

2009/10 was similar to the previous seasons for the young Frenchman. In the professional team, he was only a permanent replacement behind the veteran Mickaël Landreau and Butelle, who was now a permanent member. In contrast, he was again quite successful with the amateurs of the club with 17 missions, and he brought it to more and more missions from year to year. With Barel Mouko , Oukidja took turns with the professionals this season, mostly as number 3 or number 4, although neither of them made a professional appearance. In the B team it was again only enough for a place in the middle of the table. In the current 2010/11 season (as of April 23, 2011) , Oukidja is already in his fourth season in the professional squad, but has not yet made a single appearance. However, he increased his performance in the B team again and had already made 19 championship appearances by April 10, 2011. In one encounter, he was even sent off early with a red card . However, this was not the first time that such an early exclusion from the CFA team in Lille overtook him. With the team he is in an immediate relegation battle and ranks with the team on the penultimate place in the table.
