Career
Dylan Olsen was born in Salt Lake City when his father Darryl was a professional ice hockey player for the Salt Lake Golden Eagles . Dylan's career as a hockey player began with the Camrose Kodiaks, for whom he was active in the Canadian Junior League Alberta Junior Hockey League from 2006 to 2009 . In November 2013 he moved to the Florida Panthers as part of a swap deal for Kris Versteeg .
The Florida Panthers did not extend his contract, which ran until the end of the 2015/2016 season. Then Olsen joined the Nanton Palomino's from the RHL, a regional Canadian amateur championship.
In October 2017, Olsen joined the Adirondack Thunder from the ECHL.
International
For Canada , Olsen took part in the 2009 U18 World Junior Championship and the 2011 U20 World Junior Championship . At the U20 World Cup in 2011, he and his team won the silver medal.
