Eberhard Wolf (born November 1, 1938 in Dresden ) is a German academic draftsman and sculptor .

Life

Eberhard Wolf spent his childhood in Obercarsdorf near Dippoldiswalde . After finishing school, he completed an apprenticeship as a decorative painter from 1953 to 1956. At the adult education center in Dippoldiswalde he continued his education under Curt Querner , additional studies followed with the Dresden graphic artist and sculptor Etha Richter and at the workers and farmers faculty of the Dresden University of Fine Arts . In 1961/62 he was an intern at VEB Sächsische Sandsteinindustrie Dresden. From 1962 to 1967 he studied at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts under Walter Arnold , which he completed with a diploma.

Wolf has been a member of the Standing Commission in the Dresden-North Monument Preservation department since 1975 and, from the beginning of 1991, in the Monument Preservation section of the Saxon Heritage Protection Association .
