Edinson Edgardo Farfán Córdova

Edinson Edgardo Farfán Córdova OSA (born September 21, 1974 in Tambo Grande , Peru ) is a Peruvian religious and appointed Roman Catholic prelate of Chuquibambilla .

Life

Edinson Edgardo Farfán Córdova joined the Augustinian order in 1998 . From 1999 to 2001 he studied philosophy in the seminary of the Archdiocese of Trujillo . He made his perpetual profession on January 11, 2003 . He then studied theology at the Universidad Católica Boliviana San Pablo in Cochabamba (Bolivia), which in 2006 awarded him a licentiate in theology in the subjects of theology of spiritual life and education . He received on 26 July 2008, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

Edinson Edgardo Farfán Córdova was Vicar of the Parish of San José Obrero in Chulucanas , Lecturer and Spiritual at the Seminary of the Diocese of Chulucanas , Pastor of the Parish of Nuestra Señora de Montserrat in Trujillo and Lecturer at the Catholic University Benedicto XVI in Trujillo. From 2013 to 2017 he was novice master of the Peruvian Augustinian Province and from 2015 to 2018 pastor of the parish of Santa Rita de Casia in Trujillo.

On April 24, 2018 Pope appointed him Francis to the Apostolic Administrator of Chuquibambilla. On December 7, 2019, Francis appointed him Prelate of Chuquibambilla.
