history
The territorial prelature Chuquibambilla was on April 26, 1968 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Qui idcirco from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Abancay and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Cuzco as a suffragan .
