Eduard Kremer

Eduard Kremer (born November 26, 1881 in Eltville ; † December 17, 1948 ) was a German politician with a doctorate in law .

Eduard Kremer studied law in Berlin , became a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Bavaria Berlin in 1902 and graduated with a state examination. He then worked as a court assessor in Wiesbaden . In Dusseldorf he was Magistrate and district court director of the District Court Dusseldorf . Before the time of National Socialism , he was a member of the Prussian state parliament for the Center Party from 1932 to 1933 .

Shortly after the end of the Second World War , in July 1945 the Allies appointed him President of the District Court. As the first Minister of Justice of the newly formed state of North Rhine-Westphalia , he was in office from August 9, 1946 to December 5, 1946. He was also a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from October 2, 1946 to December 19, 1946 .
