Eduardo Abaroa is a town in the Santa Cruz department in the lowlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Eduardo Abaroa is a village in the canton of Curiche in the district (Bolivian: Municipio ) of Cabezas in the province of Cordillera . The village is located at an altitude of 523 m between the villages of Zanja Honda (12 kilometers) in the north and Mora (7 kilometers) in the south.
While the region east of Eduardo Abaroa to the Río Grande, 30 kilometers to the east, as well as the six kilometers to the west of the village, is used intensively for agriculture, further to the west there is an approximately twenty kilometers wide strip of densely wooded mountainous terrain, to the west through the foreland - Serranía Parabanon mountain range is bounded in the south by the Río Seco Florida , and in the north by the Río Piraí between Tiquipaya and Limoncito .

From Santa Cruz, the paved road Ruta 9 leads south via El Carmen and Basilio to Zanja Honda and on via Cabezas , Abapó , Ipitá and Villamontes to Yacuiba on the Bolivian border with Argentina .
