Eduardo Abaroa is a town in the Santa Cruz department in the lowlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Eduardo Abaroa is a village in the canton of Curiche in the district (Bolivian: Municipio ) of Cabezas in the province of Cordillera . The village is located at an altitude of 523  m between the villages of Zanja Honda (12 kilometers) in the north and Mora (7 kilometers) in the south.

Eduardo Abaroa is located 75 kilometers by road south of Santa Cruz , the capital of the department of the same name.

From Santa Cruz, the paved road Ruta 9 leads south via El Carmen and Basilio to Zanja Honda and on via Cabezas , Abapó , Ipitá and Villamontes to Yacuiba on the Bolivian border with Argentina .

In addition, the railway line between Santa Cruz and Yacuiba runs through Eduardo Abaroa, but has no stopping point in the village.
