Eggersdorf is a village and a cadastral community in the municipality of Karlstein an der Thaya in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 27 building areas with 13,680 m² and 36 gardens on 22,195 m² in the cadastral community Eggersdorf , in 1989/1990 there were 29 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 43 and in 2009/2010 there were 45 buildings on 103 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 140 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 20 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 141 hectares and 20 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 136 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 21 hectares. The average soil climate of Eggersdorf is 38.9 (as of 2010).
