Göpfritzschlag is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Karlstein an der Thaya in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 67 building areas with 36,799 m² and 74 gardens on 31,446 m² in the cadastral community of Göpfritzschlag , in 1989/1990 there were 70 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 189 and in 2009/2010 there were 92 buildings on 182 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 440 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 332 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 441 hectares and 328 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 431 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 329 hectares. The average soil climate in Göpfritzschlag is 26.3 (as of 2010).
