Griesbach is a village and as Griesbach bei Dobersberg a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Karlstein an der Thaya in the district of Waidhofen an der Thaya in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 60 building areas with 23,153 m² and 56 gardens on 18,312 m² in the cadastral community of Griesbach near Dobersberg , in 1989/1990 there were 61 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 126 and in 2009/2010 there were 63 buildings on 126 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 224 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 174 hectares were forest areas.
