Eggmühl is one of 37 officially named districts of the Lower Bavarian city of Riedenburg .

The wasteland is about six kilometers northwest of Riedenburg at an altitude of 364 m above sea level. NHN .
history
As a result of the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the village became part of the rural community Altmühlmünster , which also included the hamlet of Laubfeld (Laubhof) and the two wastes Ambergerhof and Mühlthal . In the course of the communal territorial reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, Eggmühl was first reassigned to the former municipality of Zell on January 1, 1972 , and six months later it was incorporated into the municipality of Dietfurt. In 1961 Eggmühl had 17 residents.
traffic
A community road branches off one hundred meters northeast of the village from the district road KEH 2 . It is possible to enter the federal motorway 9 at the Denkendorf junction about seven and a half kilometers west-southwest of the village.
