history
As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the village became part of the independent rural community of Meihern , which also included the village of Flügelsberg and the hamlet of Sankt Gregor , as well as the wilderness of Martlhof . In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s, the municipality of Altmühlmünster (with the hamlet Laubfeld (Laubhof) and the three deserted areas Ambergerhof , Eggmühl and Mühlthal ) was added to the municipality of Meihern on April 1, 1971 , with Martlhof and Mühlthal were later reassigned to the then still independent municipality of Zell . On January 1, 1978, the remaining community of Meihern was completely incorporated into the city of Riedenburg. In 1987 Deising had 160 inhabitants.
traffic
The connection to the public road network is mainly established by the KEH 2 , which branches off from the state road St 2230 on the other side of the Altmühl . Access to the Federal Motorway 9 is possible at the Denkendorf junction about 16 kilometers west-southwest of the village .
