In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s, the municipality of Altmühlmünster (with the hamlet Laubfeld (Laubhof) and the three deserted areas Ambergerhof , Eggmühl and Mühlthal ) was added to the municipality of Meihern on April 1, 1971 , with Martlhof and Mühlthal were later reassigned to the then still independent municipality of Zell . On January 1, 1978, the remaining community of Meihern was completely incorporated into the city of Riedenburg. In 1987 Deising had 160 inhabitants.
