Eichberg is a place and a cadastral municipality of the market town of Großdietmanns in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 93 building areas with 40,951 m² and 41 gardens on 34,627 m² in the cadastral municipality of Eichberg, in 1989/1990 there were 95 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 302 and in 2009/2010 there were 210 buildings on 426 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 400 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 127 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 385 hectares and 136 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 370 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 140 hectares. The average soil climate number of Eichberg is 31.9 (as of 2010).
