Hörmanns bei Weitra is a village and, under the name Hörmanns, a cadastral municipality of the market town of Großdietmanns in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 74 building areas with 33,906 m² and 73 gardens on 53,705 m² in the cadastral municipality of Hörmanns, in 1989/1990 there were 73 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 258 and in 2009/2010 there were 133 buildings on 289 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 436 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 77 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 417 hectares and 93 hectares were designated as forest areas. At the end of 2018, 392 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 103 hectares. The Hörmanns average floor climate number is 28.1 (as of 2010).
