Once bite please ( Once Bitten ) is an American horror comedy by Howard Storm from the year 1985 .

Virgin high school student Mark Kendall dreams of having sex with his girlfriend Robin Pierce. Pierce, however, refuses the physical approach. Accompanied by his friends, Kendall visits a bar where he meets a seductive and vampiric countess . The countess needs the blood of virgins to stay young. She is surrounded by several other vampires who help her.

Kendall is invited to her house by the Countess and bitten there, causing him to suffer from nightmares. Pierce realizes that her friend's behavior has changed and confronts the countess . The vampire appears to renounce Kendall, but then she kidnaps him. Pierce and her friends free Kendall, who has sex with Pierce before the Countess finds him and his girlfriend. The countess turns into an old woman.

Reviews

Janet Maslin wrote in the New York Times on November 15, 1985 that the film was more visual than joke.

The lexicon of international films wrote that the film was a " parodistic joke on vampire films in the guise of commercial teenage comedies ". The “ sexist role models ” and the “ lewd dialogues ” would reduce its entertainment value.

Cinema magazine wrote that the film was " funny " for fans of Jim Carrey . For other people, the following applies: “ Switch off, please ”.
