Career

Eitel Cantoni was one of the many South Americans who came to Europe in the late 1940s and early 1950s. In 1952, after finishing fifth in the Buenos Aires Grand Prix , Cantoni founded the Escuderia Bandeirantes. Gino Bianco and Chico Landi also drove for this racing team .

The Escuderia relied on racing vehicles from the Maserati brand . Cantoni himself competed in three races for the 1952 World Championship .
