Gino Bianco emigrated to Brazil with his parents in 1928 , but remained an Italian citizen. He completed an apprenticeship as a mechanic and thus began to gain a foothold in motorsport. First attempts as a driver followed, first at national hill climbs in Brazil, and later also on the circuit.
With the support of Eitel Cantoni and his Escuderia Bandeirantes, he returned to Europe in 1952 and took part in four races at the World Automobile Championship on a Maserati . He made his debut at the Grand Prix of Great Britain in Silverstone and achieved his only place in a world championship run with 18th place. When there was no success, he left Europe for Brazil after the Italian Grand Prix and in the 1950s still drove sporadically national races in various classes.
