Vain Oskar Höhne

Eitel Oskar Höhne (born July 19, 1922 in Dresden ; † August 29, 1998 in Eschwege ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

Life and work

Eitel Oskar Höhne studied after high school and military service law and put his 1951 state examination. From 1955 to 1961 he worked as a human resources officer at the State Welfare Association of Hesse .

Eitel Oskar Höhne was chairman of the board of directors of Hessischer Rundfunk since 1974 . Since 1953 he was a member of the association assembly of the State Welfare Association of Hesse and there since November 1985 President.

politics

Höhne was accepted as a member of the NSDAP on September 1, 1941 under membership number 8.645.229. He applied for membership at the age of 18. Hans-Peter Klausch assessed this membership in his study carried out on behalf of the Die Linke parliamentary group in the Hessian state parliament to the effect that Höhne was one of those who “can probably be seen as young victims of years of indoctrination, from which they emerge after the Have solved the war ”.

After the Second World War, Höhne became a member of the SPD . He was from 1961 until the municipal reform in Hesse in 1974 District Administrator of the district Eschwege and was then the first Chief Executive of the newly formed Werra-Meissner circle . He held this office until 1988.

From December 1, 1950 to November 30, 1970, Höhne was a member of the Hessian state parliament and from 1969 to 1970 deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. The Landtag elected him in 1954 as a member of the second Federal Assembly , which re-elected Theodor Heuss as Federal President.
