Elias Tannous

Elias Tannous (born July 22, 1982 in Valley Stream , Long Island ) is an American musician.

Life

Elias Tannous was born on July 22, 1982 in Valley Stream , Long Island . Tannous began learning to play the piano at the age of seven . At 16 he learned to play the guitar . He studied economics at Fairfield University between 2000 and 2004, graduating with a bachelor's degree.

He lived in Los Angeles for some time, but moved to Atlanta in late 2013 . There he worked at times as a waiter , cosmetics seller, music teacher and guitar technician.

Career

He is a former musician of the band Chiba-Ken , which he formed as a founding member in 2003 together with George William , Joshua Jaffe , Jason D'Amelio and Eddie Delgado. Together with the band he released 2 demos, an EP and 2 albums before he had to leave the band in February 2011.

In March of the same year he was confirmed as a musician with the band Krashkarma , with whom he did a European tour. He lived in Los Angeles for some time , but later moved to Atlanta and worked on the local music scene there. So he played with Method Man , Nas , Ryan Leslie and Kendrick Lamar .

Tannous now plays in the nu-metal band Crazy Town . In November 2019, Tannous and his music colleagues were involved in a traffic accident near Ontario in which he was slightly injured.
