Elisabeth Gruber (born November 19, 1984 ) is an Austrian triathlete and reigning state champion cross triathlon (2017). She is included in the best list of Austrian triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

Vice state champion triathlon medium and long distance 2016

In June 2016 she became vice state champion in the long distance triathlon and in July also in the middle distance.
In September she was the second best Austrian and sixth at the European championship on the half-distance as part of the Challenge Walchsee-Kaiserwinkl .

State champion cross triathlon 2017

In August 2017, the then 32-year-old became national cross-triathlon champion in the X-Triathlon (1 km swim, 24 km mountain bike and 9 km run). In September she was fourth in the first edition of Ironman Italy.

Elisabeth Gruber lives in Graz . She starts for the ÖTRV Triathlon long distance national team and is trained by Siri Lindley .
