Eliseo Martín (born November 5, 1973 in Monzón ) is a Spanish obstacle runner .

He finished seventh in the 10,000-meter run at the World Junior Athletics Championships in Seoul in 1992 , before focusing on the obstacle course.

He was sixth at the 1999 World Athletics Championships in Seville and at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, as well as twelfth at the 2001 World Athletics Championships in Edmonton and fifth at the 2002 European Championships in Munich, over a 3000 meter obstacle course .

He celebrated the greatest success of his career so far at the World Athletics Championships in Paris in 2003 when he won the bronze medal in the obstacle course. In a personal best of 8: 09.09 min, he only had to admit defeat to Saif Saaeed Shaheen and Ezekiel Kemboi from Kenya, who started for Qatar . As a result, Martín was voted Spanish athlete of the year.

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he finished ninth and at the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka, seventh in the obstacle course. At the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin, he finished ninth.

He also took part in six cross-country championships, but without being able to achieve a front placement.

Eliseo Martín is 1.73 m tall and has a competition weight of 62 kg.
