Ellen Dubin (born August 27, 19xx in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian actress .

life and work

Ellen Dubin grew up in Toronto. She is the spokesperson for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Toronto and the Central Ontario District. She is married to the Canadian telecommunications manager Jay Switzer.

She played her first supporting role in the US thriller Personals (1990). Ellen Dubin's debut in an international production was the 2002 thriller That you always think of me . So far she has appeared in more than 60 films and series, mostly produced for television. Her better-known roles include the comedy Napoleon Dynamite (2004) and the television series Lexx - The Dark Zone (1997-2002) and The Collector (2004-2006). For The Collector , she was nominated for the Gemini Award in 2005. Ellen Dubin played guest roles in television series such as Nick Knight - The Vampiric Pop , Raven - The Immortals , Mission Earth - You Are Among Us , Relic Hunter - The Treasure Hunter , Mutant X , Dead Zone , Blood Ties and a few more. Her current projects are the independent film Lost and Found , which she produces, and the cartoon series Nature’s Guard (both 2009) and the theatrical comedy Boeing, Boeing .
