Elton Tsang Ka-wai (* 1980 in Canada ) is a Chinese entrepreneur and poker player from Hong Kong . He won the Big One for One Drop Extravaganza in 2016 .

Poker career
Tsang has participated in prestigious live tournaments since 2006 .
In January 2008 he made the money at the main event of the European Poker Tour as part of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventures in the Bahamas and received a cash prize of 32,000 dollars for his 37th place . Mid-April 2013 came Tsang at the high rollers -Rebuy -Event the World Series of Poker Asia Pacific in Melbourne to the final table and ended the tournament for which no bracelets were awarded, in fifth place for 155,000 Australian dollars . In mid-October 2016 he was invited by Guy Laliberté , the founder of Cirque du Soleil , to the Big One for One Drop Extravaganza , an exclusive poker tournament in Monte-Carlo . In the run-up to the tournament, Tsang hired the Italian poker player Mustapha Kanit as a coach. In mid-October 2016, Tsang prevailed against 25 other players and won the most expensive poker tournament in the world to date with a buy-in of one million euros . For this he received a prize money of over eleven million euros, the third-highest prize money ever paid out in a poker tournament at the time.
Overall, Tsang has earned almost $ 13 million with poker in live tournaments, making him the second most successful Chinese poker player after Aaron Zang . In mid-August 2017, he accused the Czech casino owner Leon Tsoukernik of not paying him gambling debts of three million euros that Tsang claims to have won in August 2015 during a cash game in Barcelona .
