Emmanuele Kanyama

Emmanuele Kanyama (born December 25, 1962 in Dedza , Malawi , † February 17, 2018 in Kapiri , Malawi) was a Malawian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Dedza .

Life

Emmanuele Kanyama received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Dedza on August 4, 1990 .

On July 4, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Dedza. The Bishop of Lilongwe , Rémi Sainte-Marie MAfr , ordained him episcopal on October 6th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Blantyre , Tarcisius Gervazio Ziyaye , and the Bishop Emeritus of Lilongwe, Felix Eugenio Mkhori .

Emmanuele Kanyama died of complications from his diabetes . His grave is in the cathedral cemetery in Bembeke.
