Emmerzhausen (nature reserve)

The Emmerzhausen nature reserve is located in the Altenkirchen (Westerwald) district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The 40 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1983 , extends south of the local community of Emmerzhausen along the Daade stream . The state road L 280 runs along the northern edge of the area. Not far to the east runs the state border with North Rhine-Westphalia .
The protection purpose is the preservation of the meadow areas and the maple - ash forest.
