Ennis Esmer ( Turkish : Enis Esmer , born December 29, 1978 in Ankara ) is a Canadian actor and comedian of Turkish descent.

life and career

Born in the Turkish capital Ankara , Ennis Esmer immigrated to Toronto with his parents at the age of three . There he attended the Earl Haig Secondary School . At York University , he completed a three-year theater training course before starting to work as an actor and comedian.

Ennis Esmer had his first television roles in the series Veritas: The Quest and Queer as Folk as well as in the films How to Deal and Cheetah Girls - Wir werden Popstars . In the following years he was seen in the films Todes-Date (2004), Die Schneekugel (2007) and The Rocker - Voll der (S) Hit (2008). From 2006 to 2008 he also played Zoltan in all episodes of the series Billable Hours , before he took on the role of Osman "Oz" Bey in the Canadian television series The Listener - Hellhörig in 2009 , which he played until the series finale in 2014. Simultaneously with his work for The Listener he was also seen in numerous series, so in a recurring role in Covert Affairs and in a supporting role in the series The LA Complex .
