Enterprise Earth is an American deathcore band from Spokane , Washington, founded in 2014 .

history

Enterprise Earth was founded in 2014 in Spokane , Washington state and, after numerous changes in the line-up, consists of singer Dan Watson, the two guitarists Byron James Simpson and Gabe Mangold, and bassist Rob Saireh. Brandon Zackey has been supporting the group as a session musician on drums since 2019 .

In the founding year, XXIII was an EP that was financed out of pocket. In June 2015 the group was signed to Stay Sick Recordings , the label of Attila front singer Chris Fronzak . In December 2015 the debut album Patient 0 was released . On this album Joel Sams from Rings of Saturn and Adam Warren from Oceano can be heard as guest musicians.

After the group released their second album Embodiment in 2017 , they were signed to eOne Music in mid-2018 . In the summer of 2018 the band moved into the studio with producer Jason Suecof, who has already worked with The Black Dahlia Murder , Job for a Cowboy and Carnifex , and recorded the third album with him, which was released in April 2019 under the title Luciferious .

The group toured with Winds of Plague , Whitechapel , Chelsea Grin and was part of the Summer Slaughter Tour in 2016. From March to May 2019 she co-headlined another North American concert tour with Lorna Shore , which was accompanied by Within Destruction . In 2018, the group toured for the first time through Europe .

style

The group plays a groovy Death Metal with bone-breaking breakdowns . With melodic insertions, the musicians give their sound the DNA of Dimmu Borgir and The Black Dahlia Murder . The music is described as “rhythmically twisted”, with guitarist Sampson also integrating guitar leads and solos into the music, while Dan Watson's singing is explained as one-sided. It is also criticized that the group seldom deviates from the tried and tested deathcore formula consisting of blastbeats and breakdown after breakdown. Nevertheless, the musicians are said to have a certain talent.
