action

The FBI -Agentin Amanda Foster lives in San Francisco and has a daughter, Robyn. She argues with Robyn, who accuses her of being absent all the time. Foster is undercover investigating Nick Constantine, who is suspected of industrial espionage. She is there when Constantine sold a computer chip to Russian gangsters for 15 million dollars. Constantine flees from the Russians who want to kill him. Foster catches up with him and arrests him.

Foster brings Constantine to Los Angeles , where he is to be imprisoned. Meanwhile, her daughter travels to Los Angeles, where Robyn's father lives. Constantine is trying to escape when an earthquake takes place. Constantine stays and helps Foster find her daughter. On the way she learns from him that he wants to take revenge on his former employer, because he cut his salary just as Constantine's wife was suffering from cancer and needed expensive treatment. Foster tells him to give up vengeance - you can live well on two million dollars and especially on 15 million.

The agent and her inmate help people who are trapped in a subway. Then they find Robyn, who was traveling with a friend. They are still chased by the Russians until Constantine crashes the Russian helicopter with a rock thrown. In the end, Foster lets Constantine go. She later learns from a newspaper that he donated $ 13 million to cancer research.
