Erfttal is a district of the city of Neuss in the Rhine district of Neuss .

location

The Erft flows in the north of Erfttal . The A 57 also delimits the town to the north and west . To the west is the Cologne-Neuss-Krefeld railway line, the Hummelbachaue golf course and the Norfbach to the south . Erfttal has an area of ​​0.8 km 2 .

history

Erfttal is a very young district, but it was settled very early on. The Derikumer Hof was mentioned in a deed of purchase as early as 1223. At that time, Count Conrad von Dyck sold the farm to the Neuss regulators. In the French period, the property went to the French Republic. The construction of Erfttal began in the 1970s. Most of the time, high-rise buildings and some row houses were built. 1986 Erfttal-West was established. At that time, another 270 apartments for 850 people were built.
