Eriah Joseph Hayes (* 7. July 1988 in La Crescent , Minnesota ) is a retired American ice hockey player , who among other 19 games during his playing career San Jose Sharks in the National Hockey League on the position of right winger denied Has.

Career

After Hayes had played on the high school team in his hometown until the summer of 2007 , he joined the Topeka Roadrunners from the North American Hockey League at the beginning of the 2007/08 season . He spent a season there before joining the Waterloo Black Hawks in the United States Hockey League , who had previously selected him in the league's entry draft . There, too, it only lasted a year as the winger moved to Minnesota State University, Mankato in the summer of 2009 . With their ice hockey team he played for the next four years in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association , a division of the National Collegiate Athletic Association . Within the four years, Hayes was appointed to numerous selection teams.

Ungedraftet by a franchise of the National Hockey League was a free agent in April 2013 after completing his time at the College but from the San Jose Sharks taken out of the NHL under contract. From then on, they used him on their farm team , the Worcester Sharks , in the American Hockey League . The American spent the two seasons there between 2013 and 2015. In both game years, however, he also came to NHL missions in San Jose. In a total of 19 NHL encounters, he was able to score a goal. After his contract expired in the summer of 2015, Hayes was signed by the Chicago Wolves from the AHL. There he ended the 2015/16 season . After a break, the American announced his retirement in October 2017.
