Eric Allard is a special effects artist .
Life
Allard began his career in 1979 with the Disney - science fiction film The Black Hole , but no name in the credits. From the late 1980s he worked on larger film projects such as Back to the Future II , Mission: Impossible and Alien - The Rebirth . Blockbusters like Spider-Man and Matrix Reloaded followed later . Between 2010 and 2016, he was occasionally responsible for special effects on Conan O'Brien's late night show . In the course of his career he has worked with directors such as Tim Burton , Robert Zemeckis , Gore Verbinski , Brian De Palma and JJ Abrams, among others .
2000 he worked for Rob Minkoff's family film Stuart Little in common with John Dykstra , Jerome Chen and Henry Anderson for the Oscar in the category Best Visual Effects nominated, but the award this year went to the science fiction film Matrix . For Stuart Little he was also nominated for the Saturn Award and the Satellite Award , but he could only win the latter.
