Erica Fawn Gimpel (born June 25, 1964 in New York City , New York ) is an American film and television actress and singer, best known for her role in Fame .

Life

Erica Gimpel is the daughter of the musical actress Phyllis Bash and the author Joseph Gimpel. In 1982 she graduated from New York's High School For The Performing Arts . Shortly after graduation, she was used as Coco Hernandez in the series Fame - The Path to Fame and also participated in the music project The Kids from Fame . From 1985 to 1986 she played Semiramis in Torches in the Storm . From 1996 she played Angel Brown in the series Profiler . From 1997 she could be seen as Adele Newman in Emergency Room .
