The Erik Balling Travel Grant ( Danish : Erik Ballings Rejselegat ) is a Danish culture and film award that was launched in 2006 on the 100th anniversary of the Nordisk Film film company .

The award is given to a person who has made outstanding contributions to Danish film within a year through self-created works, work or other activities. Furthermore, the winner is said to have addressed a larger audience and particularly supported the popularity of Danish film, as the namesake Erik Balling achieved with his films.

The prize money is 75,000 Danish kroner (DKK) donated by the Nordisk Film Fonden . In the first year of the award, 2006, four people were awarded at the same time. From 2007, only one or two people were considered.
