Erik Herman Hansen (born June 4, 1945 in Copenhagen ) is a former Danish regatta sailor .

biography

Together with Valdemar Bandolowski and Poul Høj Jensen , he was Olympic champion at the 1976 Games in Montreal and 1980 in Moscow in Soling .

In 1987 he was able to win his first world championship in kites together with Søren Hvalsø and Valdemar Bandolowski . Two years later he managed to defend his title together with Poul Høj Jensen and Jan Persson .

In the crew of Valdemar Bandolowski and Poul Høj Jensen he was three times winner of the prestigious Dragon Gold Cup .
