Jesper Seier (born September 21, 1965 in Fredericia ) is a former Danish sailor .
successes
Jesper Seier, who sailed in the Fredericia Sejlklub , was at the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 in the boat class Soling alongside Steen Secher on the crew of the Danish boat from skipper Jesper Bank . After six races in the Fleet Race , they qualified with 34 points in second place for the final round, which was held in the Match Race . With three wins and two defeats they made it to the semi-finals. After a 2-0 win against the German boat, a 2-0 victory against the Americans followed in the final, making the Danes Olympic champions . For this success, Seier, Secher and Bank were voted Denmark's Sportsman of the Year . In the same year Seier won the silver medal at the World Championships in Cadiz .
