Voldimars "Valdemar" Bandolowski (born February 17, 1946 in Esbønderup ) is a former Danish regatta sailor .

biography

At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich , Bandolowski and his crew took 13th place. Together with Erik Hansen and Poul Høj Jensen , he was Olympic champion at the 1976 Games in Montreal and 1980 in Moscow .

In 1984 he became world champion in Soling together with Stephen Calder and Theis Palm . Three years later he was able to win his second world title together with Søren Hvalsø and Erik Hansen , this time in the kite .

Valdemar Bandolowski won the prestigious Dragon Gold Cup as a skipper in 1984 and 1986 .
