Erik Augustin Lincar (born October 16, 1978 in Oradea ) is a former Romanian football player and current coach . He played a total of 159 games in the Romanian Divizia A , the Greek Super League and the Russian Premjer League . As a national player, he took part in the 2000 European Football Championship .
Career
society
After his youth in France at Girondins Bordeaux , Lincar moved to the Romanian record champions Steaua Bucharest in 1997 . In his first season he was used in half of the matches and won his first title with the 1998 championship . The first title in the Romanian Cup followed a year later . In the 2000/01 season he was able to win the championship again with his team.
After five years, Lincar left Steaua in the summer of 2002 and moved to Panathinaikos Athens in Greece. There he was only used irregularly and thus had only a small share in the runner-up championship. After a year he went to league rivals Akratitos Ano Liosia , before moving to Amkar Perm in the Russian Premier League in 2004 . After starting difficulties, he came more often in the 2005 season . At the end of the season he and his team were relegated. After he was no longer considered at the beginning of the 2006 season , he returned to Romania in the summer of 2006, where he was signed by FC Național Bucharest . His new club surprisingly had to relegate from League 1 . Lincar then joined the ambitious second division club CS Concordia Chiajna , a year later switched to Prefabricate Modelu . However, the club withdrew before the start of the season and he ended his active career.
National team
Lincar played five games for the Romanian national team . He made his debut on April 28, 1999 in the friendly against Belgium when he came on in the 62nd minute for Constantin Gâlcă . A year later he returned to the national team in the run-up to the 2000 European Championships in Belgium and the Netherlands. National coach Emerich Jenei called him into his squad after two more international matches, but did not use him during the tournament.
Lincar played his last two international matches in December 2000 against Algeria .
Trainer
After the end of his active career, Lincar worked as a football coach. In the 2010/11 season he was in charge of Callatis Mangalia in Liga III and made promotion with the club. He then became the new head coach at FC Hunedoara in League III, but was dismissed in September 2011.
