Acts is a television program moderated by Claudia von Brauchitsch on the German private broadcaster Sat.1 .

In the show, moderated by Ulrich Meyer until the end of 2016 , curious, outrageous and fateful cases from society and the economy are critically treated. The editorial team uncovered several legal violations and thus supports the police in preventing crimes and prosecuting criminals. The editorial team of the magazine, which has been broadcast since 1995, gave a tip in early 2007 that led to the capture of hundreds of owners of child pornography .
Moderation
The show was moderated by Ulrich Meyer from 1995 to 2016. On September 14, 2010, he did not host an issue for family reasons for the first time. On September 15 and 22, 2015 Meyer was represented by Claus Strunz , who took over the moderation from January 10, 2017. In the summer of 2018, Matthias Killing was also part of the moderation team, as a vacation and illness replacement for Claus Strunz.
Naming
The show had the subtitle Reporter Reveal until 2008 . Until 2009, the last two digits of the current calendar year were after the word akte . Until 2008, the addition of the calendar week was often common, e.g. B. file 08/48 . From 2010, the four-digit current calendar year stood. A point was inserted after the first two digits. From 2008 to 2017 the program had the subtitle “Reporters fight for you!”, Since then there has been no subtitle at all. The calendar year has also been dispensed with since 2019.
Time slot
From January to March 1995 the magazine was broadcast every Wednesday at around 10:15 p.m. and from March 1995 to 1997 on Mondays at around 10:15 p.m. Since 1997 the magazine has been broadcast every Tuesday at around 10:15 p.m., but from January 2005 to October 2006 the slot was moved to Thursday at around 10:15 p.m. From October 24, 2006, the program ran on Tuesdays at around 10:15 p.m. on Sat.1.
There were no regular issues from the beginning of the year to the end of August 2019. Sat.1 announced that it would produce the magazine itself in the future. The editorial office in Berlin was closed and a new one was set up in Munich. The new slot has been on the Monday evening after the feature film since August 26th. The exact time depends on the pre-program.

akte Spezial / akte SPECIAL
akte Spezial or akte SPEZIAL is an extra TV program for the mother’s program. It was first produced in 2011 and broadcast on Sat.1 from March 8 to June 8, 2011. Ulrich Meyer is the moderator. The magazine was broadcast on Tuesdays in 2011 at around 11:20 p.m. and was therefore broadcast after the mother's broadcast.
In addition, other special programs are currently being broadcast, some of them in the main evening program at 8:15 p.m.
Akte Fate / Fate ACTS
akte Schicksal is a television program on the German private broadcaster Sat.1. Ulrich Meyer is the moderator. The 20 episodes were broadcast on Mondays at 11:15 p.m. Under the title Fateful ACTS , these episodes were repeated in a different order from 2013 on Wednesdays at 8:15 p.m. on Sat.1 Gold . 20 years of nudes: The big special with Joko and Klaas
On Tuesday, January 6th, 2015, to mark the 20th anniversary, an anniversary program entitled 20 years of nudes: The big special with Joko and Klaas was broadcast on Sat.1.
Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf interviewed the long-time “akte” presenter Ulrich Meyer. They also looked back together on the 20-year history of the format.

In the seventh season (August 2019) of Celebrity Big Brother an issue of "akte" was broadcast. The broadcast did indeed make significant investigations that met with great public interest and sometimes made headlines outside of the broadcast. Critics accuse the show, however, that even topics of little relevance are blown up into long contributions, thus simulating a scandalous character and generating attention.
In 2014 part of the editorial team was criticized for the Lange Undercover format . The station Sat.1 received several anonymous reports in which allegations of violations of journalistic due diligence were made. Some of what was described as "real" in the investigative format Lange Undercover was a "fake" or was re-enacted. An internal investigation by the broadcaster Sat.1 into the allegations showed, however, that in one episode of the format only a moderation, a so-called announcer, was re-shot. All other, sometimes serious, allegations have been refuted. In addition, Daniel Lange , the presenter of the Lange Undercover format , has been a reporter for files since 2004. In the course of the so-called "Lange scandal", the responsible producers and the then managing director were dismissed. The moderator and file reporter Daniel Lange resigned and left the production company Meta productions after 10 years . In several interviews he commented on the events and criticized his former employers and the production conditions of Lange Undercover.
In 2020, the show will be criticized for a questionable contribution. In the Leipzig district of Connewitz there were clashes between the police and residents on New Year's Eve 2019. The police claimed that a colleague was critically injured. However, this turned out to be a hoax just a few days later. The press work and the tactics of the police were later viewed critically in various media. In March 2020, files showed how two reporters disguised as police officers ventured into the alleged problem area. The reporters are said to have tried several times to aggressively force a conversation on passers-by. This then led to verbal hostility. The Leipzig public prosecutor's office is currently examining the contribution. It is about the suspicion of abuse of titles, job titles and badges. Alleged presumption of office is also in the room. There is still no response from Sat.1 to the incident.
