Ernst-Marcus Thomas - The talk was a pseudo talk show ( Scripted Reality ) broadcast by Sat.1 with Ernst-Marcus Thomas . The talk show had replaced the similar format Annica Hansen - Der Talk on its slot and initially started with ten programs on a test basis. After the broadcast of the first season, however, the format was not pursued any further because the audience ratings were below the station average. With the show, Sat.1 had ventured back into the talk show genre after the talk show boom had flattened at the turn of the millennium and almost all talk shows were discontinued as a result.
content
As with other lunchtime talk shows, the topics deal with problems of human coexistence. There were often loud arguments between the guests, rarely even physical acts, which were then prevented by one of the bodyguards .
In contrast to other talk shows such as B. Britt - The talk at one , the people shown are amateur actors , the plot and all the conversations are based on a script .
After a 14-day test run with ten episodes, the last episode was broadcast on August 3, 2012. Before the ten episodes were broadcast, Annica Hansen - The Talk was shown in a 2-week test .
criticism
“Talks based on the script are not new, but what Sat.1 has been showing since this week at lunchtime is hard to beat in terms of insignificance and superficiality. [...] It is difficult to bear [...] Anyone who follows the ridiculous stories for more than a quarter of an hour should consider them an insult to their own intelligence. "
