Ernst Kilb

Ernst Kilb (born September 14, 1896 ; † January 6, 1946 in Worms ) was a teacher and local politician ( SPD ) in Worms .

Life

Kilb was a Worms- Horchheimer village school teacher and was appointed acting mayor of Worms by the American occupying powers . On May 21, 1945, about two weeks after the German capitulation , he replaced Ludwig von Heyl zu Herrnsheim . Kilb was not healthy when he was appointed and died on January 6, 1946 after a serious illness.

The Dr.-Ernst-Kilb-Weg in Worms is named after him.
