Live and act

The son of postal inspector Franz Schmucker attended the state drama school in his hometown of Munich and performed at the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Volkstheater but also at the Salzburg State Theater until the end of World War II . After the end of the war, Schmucker belonged to the Kammerspiele in Garmisch , played small roles in several films with local Bavarian and Alpine colors and worked as a voice actor . In the same decade, Ernst Schmucker made the leap to television. He directed the images for several television recordings of the comedy nobility , whose actors were directed by Olf Fischer . It was only towards the end of the 1960s that Schmucker began to direct entire stories, including numerous episodes to popular entertainment series such as Air Jumps , Royal Bavarian District Court and The Immortal Methods of Franz Josef Wanninger , his last proven television film director. In addition, he also directed one or the other BR individual film productions. In addition, for years Schmucker was the director of the BR program Jetzt red i , headed the recording of the TV shows alone against all with Max Schautzer , Das feuerrote Spielmobil , Stars in der Manege , and Die Schlager des Jahres with Michael Schanze .
