Erwin Stührk
Erwin Stührk (born July 4, 1910 in Hamburg ; † November 13, 1942 ), also called "Ebbe", was a German football player .

Stührk, a former hitball player , made his league debut for Eimsbüttel TV at the age of 18 . He belonged to the club as a defender until 1942 and played in the championships organized by the North German Football Association until 1933 , first in the round of ten , and from the 1929/30 season in the Oberliga Groß-Hamburg point games. From 1933 to 1942 he played in the Gauliga Nordmark , in one of initially 16, later increased to 23 Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as the uniform top division in the German Reich . The Gauliga Nordmark he completed three years in a row as a champion, as well as at the end of the season 1940 and 1942. In 1938 , Hamburger SV won the championship thanks to the better goal quotient. Due to the successes, he also took part in the respective finals of the German Championship, in which he played a total of 23 games and scored three goals. He made his debut on April 8, 1934 in the first group game in a 5-1 victory over VfL Benrath ; he scored his first goal 14 days later in the 2-1 defeat by Werder Bremen . In games for the Tschammer Cup he was used once in 1935, 1937 and 1940; twice in the 2nd final round, which were successfully completed, and once in the 1st final round, in which he and the team were eliminated from the competition with 0: 3 against Spandauer SV . Stührk, who was able to convince with impressive headball strength and also knew how to set accents in the build-up from the defensive, had to step down football from the late 1930s due to a protracted meniscus injury.
Selection / national team
Stührk played 21 times representing Hamburg between September 7, 1930 and October 15, 1939 and scored six goals. 1934 he came as a player of a national team Gau Nordmark in fighting game Cup to use, reaching the July 26, 1934 in Nuremberg with 1: 2 against the national team Gau Bayern lost the semi-final . He achieved this on March 3, 1935 in Hamburg in the 2: 4 defeat against the Gau Mitte team in the competition for the Reichsbund Cup .
For the senior national team he was used three times in 1935, where he made his debut on January 27 in Stuttgart in the 4-0 win in the international match against the Swiss national team. His second and third international match was won on February 17th in Amsterdam and on October 13th in Königsberg with 3-2 and 3-0 against the national team of the Netherlands and the national team of Latvia .
