The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Castries ( lat. : Archidioecesis Castriensis ) is in Saint Lucia situated Roman Catholic Archdiocese based in Castries . It includes the state of Saint Lucia.

history

Pope Pius XII founded the Diocese of Castries on February 20, 1956 from cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Port of Spain and subordinated it to this as a suffragan . On November 18, 1974 Paul VI raised it . to the archdiocese.
