Kelvin Edward Cardinal Felix (born February 15, 1933 in Roseau ( Dominica )) is Old Archbishop of Castries .

Life

Kelvin Edward Felix was ordained a priest on April 8, 1956 , the first Catholic priest ever ordained in Dominica . From 1956 to 1962 Felix held pastoral ministry in his home country before going to the United States and Great Britain to study .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Archbishop of Castries on July 17, 1981 .

The Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Bahamas , Barbados , Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago , Paul Fouad Naïm Tabet , donated him episcopal ordination on October 5 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Gordon Anthony Pantin CSSp , Archbishop of Port of Spain , and Samuel Emmanuel Carter S.J. , Archbishop of Kingston in Jamaica .
