Esteban Escudero Torres (born February 4, 1946 in Valencia , Spain ) is a Spanish clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Valencia .

Life

Esteban Escudero Torres received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Valencia on January 12, 1975 .

On 17 November 2000 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Thala and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Valencia. The Archbishop of Valencia, Agustín García-Gasco Vicente , donated him episcopal ordination on January 13, 2001 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Barcelona , Cardinal Ricardo María Carles Gordó , and the Archbishop of Toledo , Francisco Álvarez Martínez .

On July 9, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Palencia . The inauguration took place on August 29 of the same year.

Pope Francis reappointed him on May 7, 2015, as auxiliary bishop in Valencia and titular bishop of Diano .
