Eugen von Liebig

Eugen Friedrich Wolfgang Freiherr von Liebig (born July 1, 1868 in Munich ; † July 19, 1925 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf ) was a German lawyer and insurance specialist in the field of fire and transport insurance.

Life

Liebig, a son of the agricultural scientist Hermann von Liebig and offspring of the Liebig family , was a government councilor and director in the supervisory office for private insurance . From the winter semester 1906/07 to the winter semester 1921/22 he taught insurance at the Berlin School of Commerce .

His grandfather was Justus von Liebig , his half-brother Hans von Liebig . Second-degree brothers-in-law were the theologian Adolf von Harnack and the politician Hans Delbrück .
