European Film Award : Best Children's Film (European Film Academy Young Audience Award)

The award for the best European children's film is an audience award that has been presented since 2012. The three nominated feature films are selected by a committee of experts and shown on a Young Audience Film Day in cinemas in numerous European cities. The 12 to 14 year old viewers then determine the winner of the prize. In Germany, the demonstrations traditionally take place in Erfurt , where the winner is then chosen.
