Martin Miehe-Renard

Martin Miehe-Renard (born August 10, 1956 in Frederiksberg , Denmark ) is a Danish actor , writer , film producer , director , film composer and former director .

Life

After his school education, he was admitted to acting training at Statens Teaterskole (Danish national school for theater and contemporary dance) in 1970 . He then went to a private drama school, where he received further training from Klaus Pagh, among others . He made his debut in 1974 in the film Den sårede filoktet . In addition to his work as an actor, he also worked as a director, director, composer and screenwriter. He also played artistically in many performances, including musicals , revues , including in Mogenstrup , Hjørring and Kolding . At the same time he was briefly the director of the Danish Amagerscenen Theater in Copenhagen and from 1995 to 2000 TV and drama director at Nordisk Film , as well as the artistic director of the private Tappehallerne culture and concert hall in Hellerup. From 2000 to 2003 he was the creative director at the computer game company Deadline Games . He was also responsible for several successful family and Christmas series on Danmarks Radio and TV 2 (Denmark) . Miehe-Renard is a co-owner of the TV production company Adapto and co-founder of Make Do Media . In 1985 he received a scholarship for art and science from well-known Danish patron Erna Hamilton. In addition, Martin Miehe-Renard is a member and singer of the Danish pop-rock band Hackensack in his spare time . He is also politically active and since April 2007 chairman of the radical left in Gentofte , Hellerup district .

family

He is the son of the Danish actor Louis Miehe-Renard (1919–1997). His 2nd degree courine is the Greenlandic politician Asii Chemnitz Narup (* 1954). Martin Miehe-Renard has been married to the actress Karin Jagd (* 1957) since 1993 . The couple have two sons and a daughter who live in Adelaide , Australia .
