European Film Award / Best Film Music

Winner and nominee of the European Film Award in the category Best Film Music (European Composer) since the category was officially launched in 1989. One award was not awarded in 1990 and 1993 to 2003, in 1988 a special award for the best music was given to Juri Khanon (" Days of Darkness "; Russian Dni zatmenia ) awarded. Since 2013, the award has been given by a jury of experts as the "Excellence Award" without announcing any nominations.

British and Italian film composers were the most successful with five wins each, followed by their colleagues from France (four awards).
