The 18th European Film Prize was awarded on December 3, 2005 in Berlin . The main winner was the thriller Caché by Austrian Michael Haneke with four prizes. German awardees were Julia Jentsch , who has received two awards , Franz Lustig , the cameraman, and Marc Rothemund , who received the audience award.
